The future looks an awful lot like a Mustang.
The all-new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E has been revealed at last, and it promises to deliver the best of both worlds with superior performance and incredible zero-emissions range. Available to reserve now at Shults Ford South with orders getting underway later this year, the new Mustang Mach-E promises to move as quickly out of the showroom as it will in the 0-60.
“The Mustang Mach-E wholeheartedly rejects the notion that electric vehicles are only good at reducing gas consumption,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford’s chief product development and purchasing officer. “People want a car that’s thrilling to drive, that looks gorgeous and that can easily adapt to their lifestyle — and the Mustang Mach-E delivers all of this in unmatched style.”
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E will be available in standard and extended-range options with rear-wheel drive or electric all-wheel drive. The extended-range options are expected to have an output near 332 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque.* There will also be two special high output models available, the GT and GT Performance Edition. The GT Performance Edition is expected to be able to accelerate to 60 mph in the mid-three-second range and have an output near 459 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque.* At its most efficient, the Mustang Mach-E should deliver an EPA-estimated range well over 300 miles.
