If you are expecting to receive a tax refund this year, you might be planning out how you will spend the money. Paying off debt or starting an emergency fund is a great use of your windfall, especially for young adults just getting started in the real world. Buying new appliances and other essentials are also excellent choices. If you rely on your vehicle, you can also use your tax refund to get more out of it.
Save for a Down Payment: Have you been enviously begrudging your friends and family for upgrading their cars? Does your current vehicle still have a cassette player? Make 2020 the year you finally upgrade your ride. Set aside some of your tax refund money to put a down payment on a new Ford at Shults.
Car Repairs: If our service advisors have suggested a repair or preventative maintenance that you said you’d take care of at a later date, the time has finally come. Now that you have some extra funds, protect your investment by ensuring your vehicle is up-to-date on routine maintenance and in excellent working condition.
Accessories: Shults Ford South offers a number of customization options that are specially made for your Ford car, truck, or SUV. Add a bike rack, remote start, or a tool box with ease by consulting with our parts department.
No matter how you choose to spend your tax refund, Shults Ford South can help you make your money go farther when it comes to your vehicle.
Late last year, Ford announced it would be releasing a Heritage Edition Package for both the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 and the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350R models. This special edition package pays homage to 55 years of the Mustang fastback, which originally debuted as a 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 fastback coupe. Soon after its debut, Ken Miles made the Shelby a household name when he achieved victory behind the wheel at Le Mans on February 14, 1965.
The limited run of the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby Heritage Edition models will feature a Wimbledon White color with a Guardsman Blue side and racing strips that ride over the top. According to Ford, this is a tip of the hat to the original 1965 GT350 competition model that was developed by Carroll Shelby.
“Looking back on it, what Ford and Carroll Shelby created
back in the mid-’60s was so important to Mustang,” remarked Jim Owens, Ford
Mustang marketing manager. “With their authentic exterior livery, unique
appointments and performance Ken could have only dreamed of, the Mustang Shelby
GT350 and GT350R Heritage Edition Package vehicles are a meaningful tribute to
the legacy of the Shelby brand.”
Production has already begun on the 2020 Mustang
Shelby Heritage Edition. You can order yours while they’re available at Shults
Whether you’re fulfilling a New Year’s resolution or simply
wanting to turn over a new leaf ahead of spring, going vegetarian or vegan can
yield some great results for your health. Taking up a new lifestyle is easy in
the Steel City, which is home to several great restaurants that specialize in
meatless fare. Here are some of Pittsburgh’s best vegetarian and vegan
restaurants to consider this spring.
Onion Maiden specializes in vegetable-based Asian and American comfort foods with a punk-rock, heavy-metal twist. Even if you don’t get the allusions to music and pop culture, you’ll love staples like the Kale ’Em All, Bunn O))), and Aqua Poutine Hunger Force. One of the best things on the menu may very well be the Kimmy Gibbler, a vegan dog topped with house-made kimchi, Korean mayonnaise, and fried onion.
Milky Way is a Kosher and vegetarian pizzeria that offers up healthy takes on classic pizzas. The specialty pizzas alone are well worth checking out — try the Veggie Cheeseburger, Mediterranean, or Spinach Eggplant and see that you don’t want second. But there’s soe much more worth trying at Milky Way, including its “Kicked Up” veggie burgers, entrees like eggplant parmesan and tuna melts, and a range of paninis and sandwiches.
Open everyday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., B52 is a charming café that offers up a bevy of delish dishes. From thick-cut toast topped with cashew cheese or avocado to latkes to baba ghanouj, you’ll have no trouble sating your appetite at B52. It’s also a great place to get your morning coffee or tea, and it serves up unique house-made sodas like blood orange basil and strawberry fennel. These are just some of the best vegetarian and vegan restaurants in Pittsburgh, but there’s one place you need to go if you’re looking for a new Ford: Shults. Visit Shults Ford South and we’ll introduce you to the latest vehicles Ford has to offer.
The all-new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E has been revealed at last, and it promises to deliver the best of both worlds with superior performance and incredible zero-emissions range. Available to reserve now at Shults Ford South with orders getting underway later this year, the new Mustang Mach-E promises to move as quickly out of the showroom as it will in the 0-60.
“The Mustang Mach-E wholeheartedly rejects the notion that electric vehicles are only good at reducing gas consumption,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford’s chief product development and purchasing officer. “People want a car that’s thrilling to drive, that looks gorgeous and that can easily adapt to their lifestyle — and the Mustang Mach-E delivers all of this in unmatched style.”
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E will be available in standard
and extended-range options with rear-wheel drive or electric all-wheel drive.
The extended-range options are expected to have an output near 332 horsepower
and 417 lb-ft of torque.* There will also be two special high output models
available, the GT and GT Performance Edition. The GT Performance Edition is
expected to be able to accelerate to 60 mph in the mid-three-second range and
have an output near 459 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque.* At its most
efficient, the Mustang Mach-E should deliver an EPA-estimated range well over

The next wave of connectivity is upon us with the newly announced next-generation Ford SYNC® 4 infotainment system. And what better way for Ford to bring its latest version of SYNC® to market than to debut it in its most exciting new vehicle: the new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E.
“Next-generation SYNC actively starts
adapting to you as soon as you start using it, quickly learning your
preferences and making personalized suggestions,” said Darren Palmer, Ford
global director for battery electric vehicles. “It can suggest going to the gym
if it learns Mondays are workout days or calling home if you do that every day
after work. The result is a cloud-connected assistant and interface that’s
intuitive, beautiful and ready for the future thanks to fast over-the-air
There’s a lot to be excited about when it
comes to SYNC® 4, including cloud-based connectivity, conversional voice
recognition technology, and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™
But maybe the most exciting aspect is the
adaptability of the system to a variety of different screen sizes, including a
massive 15.5-inch screen. As offered with the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the screen
will be vertically oriented and include a tactile power and volume knob in the
lower center. This large screen will feature the Adaptive Dash Cards function,
which saves recently used and popular features in a horizontal row toward the bottom
of the screen, allowing you to switch tasks more easily.
because SYNC® 4 features over-the-air update technology, the system never stops
improving. Kind of like Ford, really. To learn more about Ford SYNC® 4 and the
exciting new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E, stop into Shults Ford South.
