Ford Celebrates 1966 Bronco With New Bronco, Bronco Sport Heritage Editions

2023 Ford Bronco Heritage | Pittsburgh, PA

To say that the Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport have taken the world by storm would be an understatement. For 2023, both incredible off-road SUVs are coming back to stun again with the latest exciting additions to their lineups. The 2023 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport both receive Heritage and Heritage Limited editions that pay stylish tribute to the classic 1996 Bronco.

When people think Bronco, the beautiful two-tone styling of vintage models is one of the standout elements. Ford is replicating that look for 2023 with the Heritage and Heritage Limited Editions, which give the Bronco and Bronco Sport a contrast Oxford White roof and grille.

Playing up that classic aesthetic even more is a new selection of color options, including beautiful Robin’s Egg Blue and Yellowstone Metallic. Heritage Limited models in particular up the throwback ante with features like 17-inch dog dish wheels for the Bronco and classic script fender badges for the Bronco and Bronco Sport.

But above all else, the 2023 Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport Heritage and Heritage Limited edition live up to the legends that came before them because they drive the way a Bronco should. You’re still getting incredible 4×4 performance, G.O.A.T. Modes™ for optimal driving, and HOSS Systems for superior off-road comfort.

These limited-edition models are sure to sell like hot cakes when orders open to all customers next year. If you want the inside track, contact Shults Ford South in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Meet the First-Ever Ford Bronco Everglades

Ford Bronco Everglades | Pittsburgh, PA

2022 is shaping up to be a massive year for the new Ford Bronco. Not only did the off-road warrior win the 2022 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year™, but it’s also coming back strong with two new models. In addition to the highly powerful Bronco Raptor, Ford is launching a new 2022 Bronco Everglades that’s made for running amok in the muck.

The most distinctive feature of the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades is the snorkel on the passenger-side A-pillar. Developed and engineered by Ford, this class-exclusive tool comes with a pair of swappable plates that let you adjust its functionality depending on situations. You can use the snorkel to feed more air into the engine when you’re trekking through deep sand, snow, and water.

With the Ford Bronco Everglades, you also get the legendary Sasquatch™ Package, which includes burly 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires that allow for up to 36.4 inches of water-fording capability. And the modular Ford Performance bumper features a ZEON 10-S WARN® winch with up to 10,000 pounds of capability.

Ford Develops Tech to Prevent Fogged Windshields

Ford Sensors | Shults Ford South | Pittsburgh, PA

If there’s one thing Pittsburghers know, it’s the pain of foggy, frosty windshields when cold weather hits. To alleviate the stress that burden causes, Ford has developed a new sensor system that can prevent fogged windshields before you lose visibility.

The system, called Windscreen Weather Station, recently rolled out on the Ford Kuga and Explorer in the United Kingdom. This advanced system, located near the rearview mirror, uses sensors to detect moisture in the air. It can then automatically engage the air conditioning to prevent the glass from fogging up.

“Waiting for your windscreen to clear after exercising is one of life’s little irritations — but driving without being able to clearly see the view ahead can be dangerous. This technology anticipates the problem and deals with it without the driver even knowing,” said Ingo Krolewski, Ford’s European climate control supervisor.

Ford notes that it rolled out the feature in Europe because COVID-19 has led to a major uptick in cycling and running. Breathing hard in cold weather can turn your glass opaque quickly — but the Windscreen Weather Station is that much quicker, helping stop the problem before it starts.

We’re eager to see what new technologies Ford has on the horizon to make our lives that much easier. If you’re interested in seeing what Ford has brought to the table for 2021 — whether it’s the all-new Ford F-150, adventurous Bronco Sport, or all-electric Mustang Mach-E — stop by Shults Ford South in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
